Jesse Kornblum, Senior Forensic Scientist
Mr. Kornblum is a Senior Forensic Scientist for the ManTech International Corporation. Based in the Washington DC area, his research focuses on computer forensics and computer security. He has helped pioneer the field of memory analysis and authored a number of computer forensics tools including the md5deep suite of hashing programs and a system for fuzzy hashing similar files. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Kornblum has previously served as a computer crime investigator for the U.S. Air Force and as the Lead Information Technology Specialist for the Department of Justice.

MD5Deep was developed by Jesse Kornblum, a current ManTech CSI employee.

Eric Eifert,
Vice President ManTech Cyber Sector

Eric has over 14 years experience in information security, holds a Masters Degree in Information Systems, is a certified Project Management Professional, and is a Certified Computer Crime Investigator. He leads a highly technical team of cyber security experts committed to defending our nation’s critical information systems. He and his team provide Incident Response & Investigation services, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing services, Security Operations Center management, and all forms Information Assurance to various government and commercial customers. Prior to joining ManTech in 2001 Mr. Eifert was a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Investigations (AFOSI) where he conducted Computer Crime Investigations and Information Operations throughout Europe, Africa, and South West Asia. Mr. Eifert remains a Reserve Special Agent with AFOSI continuing to support them when needed.

Chris Geyster, Technical Manager
Chris Geyster is the manager of the hardware development team within ManTech CSI. He also leads ManTech’s data recovery team that provides services through an in house data recovery center as well as a government funded facility providing services within the Law Enforcement and Intelligence communities.
Chris came to ManTech International after serving as a member of the U.S. Air Force as an Air Force Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) responsible for computer crimes investigations serving in both the South West and South Central regions. Prior to becoming a Special Agent, he also served as a Financial Manager responsible for standing up the Contingency Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron - Deployable Ground Station 1 as well as a Computer Engineer for various Air Intelligence Agency installations around the world.
Chris holds a B.A.A.S. from Texas State University - San Marcos as well as undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Computer Science from CCAF.

Michael "Mike" Clark, Senior Intrusion Engineer
An alumni of the Honeynet Project, Mike is co-author of the book Know Your Enemy, Learning About Security Threats (2nd Edition)—he contributed content on virtual honeynets, data analysis and Sebek. He has spoken at the FBI Academy, West Point, the National Security Agency, Joint Task Force–Computer Network Operations (JTF-CNO), and industry conferences.

Timothy Leschke, Senior Forensic Engineer
Tim works with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Cyber Crime Institute, conducting research and developing software tools that support forensic investigations. Currently he investigates how to extract and analyze forensic data contained in hand-held devices such as cell-phones, PDAs and GPS units. His research led to development of a tool called Shadow Miner; he presented his findings at the DOD Cyber Crime Conference 2009. He is an FBI- and DOD-certified Forensic Examiner. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Loyola University, Chicago, and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Computer Science through University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). He contributed a chapter on "The Exokernel Operating System and Active Networks" for the textbook, Handbook of Research on Advanced Operating Systems and Kernel Applications: Techniques and Technologies, to be published in September 2009. The Exokernel"an experimental operating system developed at MIT" can operate at much faster speeds than traditional operating systems and is also flexible enough to serve as a foundation for emerging technologies like active networks. Before joining ManTech, Tim worked for the FBI.

Eugene Libster, Senior Forensic Engineer
Eugene works on developing new computer forensics tools and techniques. His main interests include memory analysis, mobile device forensics, and video triage. At the DoD Cyber Crime Conference 2009, he presented techniques to extract information from large volumes of videos. He has written and maintains a tool called the DCCI Video Validator that uses storyboarding to accomplish this goal. He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University.
